Yoga for Equestrians
I had my first riding lesson when I was eight years old, and horses have been a part of my life ever since.
I know the highs and lows that come with having horses, and the lengths we will go to keep them happy and well. Having these incredible beings in our lives is such a privilege, but it can also bring with it a huge sense of responsibility.
My desire to be the best I can be for my own horse eventually led me to bring together my two greatest passions: horses and yoga.
Over time, I have become increasingly aware of just how much we bring into the saddle with us - physically, mentally and emotionally.
Our tension, breathing, balance, energy and state of mind can all influence the way we ride and communicate with our horse.
I believe that developing a deeper awareness of ourselves can help us become more present, more balanced and more connected riders.

How yoga can support your equestrian life

Through yoga-based movement, meditation and breath work, I help riders feel more at ease in the saddle - physically, mentally and emotionally.
The practices I share can help you:
• Develop strength, mobility and flexibility
• Improve balance and body awareness
• Recognise and release unnecessary tension that shows up when you ride
• Have tools to help you in those more challenging moments
• Develop a more harmonious connection with your horse
Yoga invites us to meet ourselves with honesty, humility and compassion.
Through greater awareness, we can begin to notice how we move, how we breathe, how we respond and what we bring into the saddle.
That awareness can help us ride with greater integrity, ease and presence, creating space for a more connected and harmonious relationship with our horse.
